Fang, James Patterson’s new adventure featuring high-flying teenager Maximum Ride, takes a dark turn when she hears a terrifying prophesy.
It’s never been easy for Max, always trying to stay one wingspan ahead of evil forces challenging her destiny to save the world. But soon her own world is shaken by a prophetic message declaring the imminent death of Fang. How can that be? Max and Fang have always led their flock of friends side-by-side—and heart-by-heart. Max’s attempt to protect Fang brings them closer than ever, even as Dylan, a handsome stranger, falls from the sky to deliver yet another shocking proclamation. Raised in a lab like Max and her companions, Dylan was created for one reason: to be Max’s one-and-only other half!

I HAVE READ ALL OF THE BOOKS IN THE SERIES, THIS ONE WAS A LITTLE SLOW. USUALLY I READ THROUGH THE MAXIMUM RIDE BOOKS IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. IT TOOK ME A WEEK TO READ THIS ONE. EVEN w/THAT SAID, I LOVE THE SERIES, LOOKING FORWARD TO READING THE NEXT ONE. WAS SHOCKED BY THE ENDING. HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE FIXED BY THE NEXT BOOK IN THE SERIES. SOMEONE DO SOMETHING w/ANGEL PLEASE!!!.

I love this series. I was skeptic at first, thought I was too old to enjoy these books. I am 32 years old, and am very much attached to these kids. They go through so much, and I can't wait to continue to watch them grow.
