Sea Change

Acclaimed for his creation of heroes Spencer P.I. and most recently police chief Jesse Stone—his “most rewardingly complicated shamus” (Entertainment Weekly)—Robert B. Parker takes us back to Paradise, Massachusetts, where Stone faces the case of his career.

When the body of a woman washes ashore, Chief of Police Jesse Stone embarks on an unexpectedly emotional investigation. It turns out the victim is recently divorced Florida heiress Florence Horvath, who is known for her starring role in a sex video. With her strangely detached family and sea-faring “friends” not talking, Jesse must put himself in harm’s way to uncover the ugly and tragic facts of Florence's life—and death.

I bought two of the Jessie Stone books based on seeing the movies on TV. Enjoyed the books more because they had a more in depth story line than what was one on TV. I will probably continue to buy Robert Parker books in the future. This is first I've read him.
