Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer

When it comes to John Grisham’s brand of edge-of-your-seat suspense, why should adults have all the fun? The #1 international bestselling author who thrilled us with courtroom classics like The Firm and The Pelican Brief introduces his first-ever series just for kids—and it starts with Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer. It’s an exciting legal thriller that’s sure to have young readers turning the pages long after it’s time for lights out!

Thirteen-year-old Theo has always dreamed of being a great trial lawyer, but being dragged into the middle of a sensational murder trial isn’t exactly what he had in mind. A cold-blooded killer is about to go free and only Theo knows the truth. Now it’s up to him to make sure justice is served. (Ages 9-12)

my 12 year old son Aaron loved the Theodore Boone kid lawyer book, wanted me to buy more but was disappointed that it wasn't a series.

LOVED IT!
September 19, 2010

I am 62 years old and I thoroughly enjoyed this new series for early teens by Grisham. The plot is not as complex or hard hitting as the adult titles, but the storyline kept my interest and was just plain fun to read. Finished it in an afternoon. Loved it!

I bought this book for my 11 year old grandson and then read it myself since I'm a Grisham fan. I was delighted with the book and know my grandson will enjoy it, too.

Fun Stuff

I enjoyed the fast pace and intro for kids to the judicial system. Theo is a delightful hero and a cool role model for adolescents and teens. The ending was soft but the read enjoyable.
